On 29 April, DOCUMENTA launched the testing phase of the Energy Education Programme of the project with the participant group from the Employment Programme of Santa Cruz de Bezana Town Council (Cantabria), held at the Rada Building.

Participants had the opportunity to learn in detail about the project and its objectives, as well as the materials and resources that make up the Virtual Environment for Energy Culture. In addition, participants registered on the training platform to begin the first course of the educational programme: “Energy Culture and Ecological Transition”.

During the session, DOCUMENTA provided an overview of the objectives of this first course, together with the sustainability competences (GreenComp) and digital competences (DigComp) promoted through the programme.

Both training courses are currently in the testing phase in Spain and in the other partner countries involved in the project — Turkey, Greece and Romania. Following this stage, the necessary improvements and adjustments will be incorporated in order to offer citizens an accessible, engaging and high-quality training programme on energy culture, contributing to the development of key competences and to the promotion of a more sustainable energy culture.
