The first Participatory Action of the Energy Education Program of the project was carried out under the coordination of the District National Education Directorate in the conference hall of Anamur Secondary School.

In the disputation activity, organized as the first “Participatory Activity” under the theme “Energy Culture Conceptualizations” and prepared by Technology and Design teachers Gülşah İmral and Gönül Bilgiç from Anamur Secondary School, 7th grade students of the school took part.

Six students participated in the disputation activity as contestants, while 40 other students attended as audience. Mathematics teacher Özgür Batkın and Turkish teacher Sunay Kayabaşı served as jury members during the evaluation of the debate. Murat İmral and Mesut Budak, from the Project Coordination Unit of the Anamur National Education Directorate, represented the Directorate as the project implementation team during the event.

The students, who received support and training throughout the process, demonstrated a high level of preparation and motivation regarding the arguments and concepts they defended, resulting in a dynamic and exciting competition between the teams.
